Best Face and Body Scrubs

Finding a seriously awesome body scrub yet staying away from microbeads takes a conscious effort. We all know these little pieces of plastic are harmful to our environment but they are still used in many different face and body products. I've tried to find the best body scrubs without these harmful little pieces of plastic.

One of the best face and body scrubs I've tried has been from Lush. Let the Good Times Roll smells like caramel popcorn. It costs $12.95 CAD for 100 g. It honestly smells so amazing and a little goes a long way.

I've also tried the sugar scrubs from Bath & Body Works. The Golden Sugar Scrub is a great option, my favourite scent in the line is Paris Amour. Another option is the Foaming Sugar Scrub, my favourite scent is the Pretty as a Peach. Both of these cost $16.50 CAD for 226 g. A great time to stock up on these is during the Semi-Annual Sale, which is on right now.

A less expensive option is used ground coffee grounds as a scrub. So after you brew your morning cup of coffee, take those coffee grounds to the shower. These grounds still contain caffeine which is one of the main ingredients in all those cellulite busting products. So really its a two in one, it doesn't add any cost to your life and helps with cellulite.

November Favourites

So November is over, and Christmas is almost here. I'm not the biggest fan of Christmas, and I'm still missing Halloween. But Christmas means new makeup, and I'm all for that. I haven't had time to try new products (or the money), so most of my favourites are older products that I just can't get enough of. So it seems colour correcting is the new trendy makeup fad. But it can also be very useful to help complete your look or combat unwanted redness that your foundation just can't cover. I'll go through the most common colour correcting products and explain how they work and what it can do for you. If you feel like this is too much for you, don't worry it's not necessary. I would only recommend this if you have very problematic skin or want to look completely flawless. I think most brands now have come out with their own colour correcting products, so it shouldn't be hard to pick up a product! Too Faced Sweet Peach Collection

One of the biggest problems I have with Too Faced is that they always release Ulta exclusive palettes. I live in Canada, so I can't get these items, and I'm especially not buying anything from their website and paying almost double for the product because of the exchange rate and duty. But this collection was available at Sephora so I was thrilled I could pick it up. I recently picked up some of the items from this collection.
